STEM Magnet Advanced Manufacturing WBL Experience

The Career and Technical Education Department sponsored a field trip to Richmond Community College, FCC, and Service Thread. Students had an opportunity to learn about a variety of manufacturing careers such as:

  • -Mechatronics Engineering using
  • CNC Technology
  • -Mechanical Engineering with 3D imaging and printing
  • -Industrial Systems Technology with diagnostic and repair equipment
  • -Electric Utility Substation and how to maintain high voltage equipment and protective systems
  • -Relay Technology with information about transformers, voltage and regulators
  • -FCC Assembly Manufacturing of Automatic Clutch Systems
