CTE Staff Professional Development on PBLs

The CTE Staff are busy this year learning the process of Project-Based Learning. With the help of SREB/HSTW Consultants, CTE teachers have had extensive training on the process of CTE PBLs to learn the process of developing quality project projects to enhance their classroom instruction. During a follow-up training on November 4, 2015, teachers learned the importance of incorporating literacy and numeracy skills in their PBLs as well as creating products that are real-world. PBLs in the CTE classes will help students to increase their 21st Century Skills through collaboration, creativity, communication, and problem-solving.
