SHS Agriculture Students Visit Wake Tech

Agriculture education students visited the John Deere Tech Open House at Wake Technical Community College. The activities were conducted by the second year students in the John Deere Tech program.  The areas of instruction were Hydraulics, Dynamometer, Emissions, Service Truck, Electrical Systems and GPS Auto Steer.  Students were also advised of admissions requirements and financial aid.  Kenneth Stokes, Scotland CTE graduate, directed the dynamometer lab and is a first year student in the John Deere Tech program.  He is sponsored by Southeast Farm Equipment in Laurinburg and plans to return there after school as a service technician.
