Outstanding Students of the Week “Voted by their Peers”

Gates students (2-5-2016)In Mrs. Gates 6th Grade PLTW Gateway to Technology classes, students were selected by their peers. By focusing on one soft skill each week, students vote on their classmate who most strongly demonstrated that skill. Ballots were created using Google Forms and at the top of the ballot, the soft skill is listed with a brief description. During the week of February 1-5, 2016, one student from each of Mrs. Gates classes was chosen who demonstrated the soft skills “accepting responsibility”. Raven Taylor, Stephen Locklear, and Cameron Gorden were chosen by their peers to have demonstrated this soft skill. What a great way for students to be recognized both by their peers and for their soft skills.
